Create your own beautiful dichroic glass jewellery. This course will cover everything you need to know to create a collection of individual dichroic pendants, earrings, brooches. Suitable for complete beginners. Jewellery findings can be purchased at the class.
If you have already experienced the magic of Dichroic glass and want to develop your skills or have another play then contact me for details of two four hour sessions ( over two days) with one firing in between.

Class details 2 sessions: Saturdays 10.00AM- 3.00PM. Maximum class size of four
Venue: LYF Designs Studio Boronia (not too far from Knox Shopping Centre)
Fee: $150.00 – Includes firing, and postage of finished pieces. Additional costs will be charged for glass only by gram. Glass kits, findings and equipment available for sale
Content Create your own beautiful dichroic glass jewellery in my Studio. This class covers everything you will need to know to create a collection of individual dichroic pendants, earrings, brooches or cabochons. Topics covered in the courses include:
Cutting glass Preparing glass for firing Overview of types of Dichroic available Selection of materials Attaching findings such as bails, earring backs etc Tack fusing glass Creating channels in glass for stringing Firing schedules OH&S
Outcomes Students will learn how to create Dichroic jewellery and learn the techniques of attaching findings to their own original pieces. Each student will make approx 10 pieces. Suitable for complete beginners.
MOSAICS Learn basic mosaic on a blue glazed water bowl. No glass cutting and all equipment provided. Cost:100.00 for tuition over a day and a half and all materials.
